Brasscam offers 4* accomodation and a wide variety of walking from the door.

Brasscam is a fabulous cottage at the heart of the Lakes ; it is situated at Mountain View beside the River Derwent on the approach to the hamlet of Seatoller in the beautiful Borrowdale Valley, close to the foot of the Honister Pass. The cottage has access to the high fells, notably Glaramara, Great Gable and Scafell Pike, right from the door, making it a paradise for walkers.

Brasscam provides a perfect base for exploring the Northern Lakes with Keswick only seven miles away and Derwentwater and Buttermere approximately three miles. Brasscam enjoys fell views from all windows and is close to the villages of Seatoller, Stonethwaite and Rosthwaite.

The cottage is centrally heated and has an open fire in the sitting room, a well equipped kitchen and utility ; there are two bathrooms and all the bedrooms have a dressing table and a spacious fitted wardrobe.

There is free fast fibre Wi-Fi BT Broadband internet access throughout the property.

There is a request bus stop 50 yards away with regular buses to Keswick (78) and the Honister Rambler (77/77A) which in the summer months journeys on a circuit over the Honister Pass to Buttermere, Lorton, Whinlatter, Portinscale, Grange and back to Mountain View, Seatoller.

Home delivery for groceries and other supplies is available from Asda, Morrisons, Sainsbury's and Tesco all the year round, and from Booths (of Keswick) over Christmas and New Year.
